Opened in 2012, the Yun Dong-ju Literature Museum was created by transforming a decommissioned water pumping station and its tanks on the slopes of Inwangsan. Designed around the poet's iconic motif of 'the well,' the museum consists of three spaces: the Poet's Room with handwritten manuscripts and photos, the Open Well; a roofless tank where you gaze up at the sky; and the Closed Well screening a film on his life. Following the footsteps of Yun Dong-ju, who climbed Inwangsan during his college years for poetic inspiration, a lovely walking trail connects the museum to the nearby Poet's Hill and Cheongwun Park.
