더숲 초소책방
In 1968, a police guard post was established here on the slopes of Inwangsan to protect the Blue House (presidential residence) after a North Korean commando infiltration attempt. Over 50 years later, in 2020, Seoul Metropolitan Government transformed this outpost into a stunning forest bookshop café. Wrapped in glass walls that blend seamlessly into Inwangsan's forest, the building offers breathtaking panoramic views of Namsan Tower and the Seoul skyline. Enjoy a book and coffee on the first floor, then step out onto the second-floor terrace and outdoor deck where Inwangsan's granite boulders and forest canopy are right at your fingertips. The evening views are especially magical. Open daily until 10 PM year-round.
