Cafe

Daechungpark

인왕산 대충유원지

Daechungpark is a rooftop cafe on the 4th floor in Seochon Village. 'Daechung (大蟲)' is an old Korean word meaning 'tiger', perfectly fitting for a cafe near Inwangsan Mountain where tigers once roamed. Located in a building that won the Seoul Architecture Award, it was originally an LPG storage facility, finished in exposed concrete to harmonize with the original landscape. The interior features gravel flooring and modern design with traditional hanok elements. The space comprises a 15-pyeong cafe and 5-pyeong rooftop, with a small fern garden behind glass walls that brings the outdoors inside. From the bar corner, you can watch the barista brew coffee with panoramic views of Seochon and Inwangsan Mountain behind. During the day, enjoy filter coffee, matcha latte, and crème brûlée; at night, wine and whisky are available. Private rentals are also possible.
