우리옛돌박물관
The world's only museum dedicated to Korean stone art, situated on a hillside in Seongbuk-dong between Bugaksan and the Seoul City Wall. Across a 18,000㎡ site, it displays 1,250 stone artifacts, 280 embroidery works, and over 100 modern paintings. The journey begins at the Repatriated Heritage Hall showcasing cultural properties returned from Japan, then continues through galleries of scholar stones, guardian generals, attendant figures, totem poles (beoksu), stone pagodas, and Buddha statues. The museum also features embroidery and modern art galleries. In autumn, vibrant foliage frames the outdoor stone figures, creating an unforgettable seasonal landscape.
