Art · Gwanghwamun Square, JongnoSeoul Light Gwanghwamun (서울라이트 광화문) is a winter media art exhibition made of light and music. It gives you a good reason to stay in the city centre after dark.
The centrepiece is the Gwanghwamun media façade, a show of light set to music. Light sculptures are part of the exhibition too, so take time to walk around rather than watch the façade alone.
A citizen participation programme lets you join in rather than only look on; check the official page for how to take part.
The run also spans the turn of the year, with a New Year countdown event to welcome 2027.
