A guided night walk along the Han River, two routes to choose from

This is a free guided walking tour along the Han River at night, run by Seoul's Hangang management office. A professional guide leads the walk and shares stories behind the sights along the way, so it works well if you want to see the river's night side without just wandering on your own.

There are two routes. The Banpo Moonlight Path passes through Seorae Island, the flower shaped Some Sevit islands, the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain (listed in Guinness World Records as the longest bridge fountain), and Jamsu Bridge. The Yeouido Starlight Path goes through Hangang Art Park, Mapo Bridge, the Mulbit Stage, and Mulbit Square. Both routes include stops set up as photo spots against the night skyline.

Tours run Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 8:30pm, from May 1 through September 19, open to all ages. It is free but spots are given out by lottery, so check the official site (visit-hangang.seoul.kr) for how to apply and which route departs from Yeouido.
