피롤츠 커피하우스
Pirultz Coffee House is a newtro-style cafe that opened in 2024, reinterpreting Korea's old "dabang" (tea house) culture. The name "Pirultz" combines Hungarian words for brown and time, symbolizing leisurely moments over coffee. Behind a humble building's retro Korean signage on the 2nd floor lies a warm space with deep wood-tone interiors and vintage lighting. Checkered floor tiles and mismatched teacups add to the nostalgic charm. Their Vienna Coffee (7,000 won) features smooth cream that's not overly sweet, and traditional drinks like Ssanghwa-cha (herbal tonic tea) and Daechu-cha (jujube tea) are faithfully recreated. The Caramel Pudding (8,500 won) is called a "life-changing dessert" for its rich caramel syrup and silky texture. In the evening, enjoy highballs, gin tonics, or whiskey tea paired with retro snacks like roasted ginkgo nuts or dried filefish. 8-minute walk from Sinyongsan Station Exit 2. No parking available, iPark Mall parking recommended. Note the 90-minute time limit. Last order weekdays 21:20, Fri-Sat 22:50.
