Fritz Jangchung is a new branch of Fritz Coffee Company that opened in Jangchung-dong in August 2023. The cafe is housed in a renovated traditional Korean hanok building, featuring an impressive exterior with red brick walls and traditional tile roofing. At the entrance, Fritz's iconic walrus logo hangs on the brick wall, while stone walls and old trees create an atmosphere where time seems to stand still. Blue outdoor tables and chairs are arranged in the courtyard, allowing guests to enjoy coffee under the shade of trees. Inside, the exposed wooden beam ceiling preserves the hanok's traditional charm, while floral sofas and wooden furniture add a warm, cozy atmosphere. Visitors can savor Fritz's signature smooth blend coffee and freshly baked artisan pastries. Sitting in the outdoor courtyard on a nice day feels like finding a small haven in the city. Jangchung-dong is an upscale residential area home to five-star hotels like Shilla and Banyan Tree, and has recently emerged as a new hotspot with stylish cafes and restaurants. About 10 minutes on foot from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.
