Baekbeom Square Park

백범광장공원

Baekbeom Square Park is a park honoring Kim Gu (pen name Baekbeom), an iconic figure of Korea's independence movement, located at the northern foot of Namsan Mountain. A statue of Kim Gu stands at the center of the park, surrounded by expansive lawns and walking paths that make it a beloved resting spot for Seoul residents. Connected to the walking trails leading up to N Seoul Tower, it serves as a popular starting point for Namsan hikes. Cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage make it worth visiting in every season. Travelers interested in modern Korean history can combine a visit with the nearby An Jung-geun Memorial Museum and Namsangol Hanok Village to gain a deeper understanding of Korea's independence movement. ※ Access: 15-min walk from Seoul Station (Lines 1, 4) or 10-min walk from Myeongdong Station (Line 4) Exit 3
