대한민국역사박물관 옥상 전망대
A hidden gem observatory on the 8th floor of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, right next to Gwanghwamun Square. From the 'Hwangtomaru Rooftop Garden,' you can enjoy panoramic views of Gwanghwamun Gate, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and even Cheongwadae (the former presidential residence) beneath Bugaksan Mountain. Admission is free, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays, it stays open until 9 PM, perfect for night photography. Visiting during Gyeongbokgung's evening opening hours lets you capture the beautifully illuminated palace. We recommend exploring the museum's exhibitions before heading up to enjoy the stunning Seoul cityscape.
