Cafe Jinjungsung Jongjeom is an ocean-view cafe situated along the Dodu coastal road in Jeju, the Jeju branch of a brand that started in a small cafe in Seoul's Hwagok-dong in 2015 and became known as the birthplace of Korea's handmade milk tea trend. True to the "sincerity" in its name, while typical cafes use powdered milk for convenience, this cafe insists on house-made condensed milk and fresh milk, with 24-hour cold brewing and aging to bring out the full aroma of black tea. They even age Madagascan vanilla beans in a wine cellar for over a month to create vanilla syrup; every ingredient and process embodies uncompromising dedication. Beneath the modern architecture where concrete harmonizes with nature, the palm tree-lined coastal road and the blue Jeju sea unfold before your eyes. On the expansive outdoor terrace, you can spend relaxed moments feeling the ocean breeze, and photo zones set up throughout the building are popular among visitors. Coffee brewed with various single-origin beans, traditional Korean teas, and non-coffee beverages are equally impressive. Located about 10 minutes by car from Jeju Airport, it is an ideal stop to begin or wrap up your Jeju trip. Currently operating six locations nationwide including Seoul and Gimpo, the Jeju Jongjeom ("final stop") is the newest addition.
