Gongone Script Garosugil is a listening cafe and design complex cultural space in the heart of Garosu-gil, housing entirely different worlds on each floor from basement 1 to the 3rd floor under the subtitle 'The Music Vault.' The first urban expansion from Gongone Company, which originated in the forests of Gogi-ri, Yongin, it transcends a simple cafe to become an audio sanctuary where sophisticated design and premium sound can be experienced simultaneously. In the basement, a high-end audio system sits within the dramatic interplay of light and shadow created by concrete walls and perforated metal ceilings, centered around the legendary Altec A5 speakers; originally used in 1940s Hollywood cinemas and revered among vintage audio enthusiasts. Meticulous acoustic design including wood placement at 30cm intervals, 1.1cm-thick carpeting, and diagonal ceiling engineering showcases the attention to sound quality. On the first floor lounge, enjoy coffee surrounded by black leather sofas and mid-century furniture while gazing at the green garden through large glass windows. The upper floor 'Charles & Ray Room' exhibits world-class designer furniture including iconic Eames chairs that revolutionized mass-produced design, along with pieces from Knoll, allowing visitors to sit and experience design history firsthand. Created through a collaboration between Gongone Company, Blue Cabinet magazine, and Be Spatial, this space is a new Garosu-gil landmark where music, furniture, and culture converge. Located within walking distance from Sinsa Station, it pairs perfectly with a stroll down Garosu-gil.
