와이엠 에스프레소 룸
YM Espresso Room is a hidden specialty espresso café tucked away in an apartment complex commercial area in Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu. With no signage outside, first-time visitors might feel like they've discovered a secret hideaway. Step inside and you'll find a space that feels like walking into an actual cathedral. Deep-toned wooden church benches, a large coffee machine arranged like an altar, and stained glass decorations gazing down at guests create an almost sacred atmosphere. Classical and jazz music flows gently from large central speakers, making it feel like a dedicated listening room. As a specialty espresso shop under the YM Coffee Project brand, their signature offerings are espresso and conpanna made with self-roasted beans. During the day, light streaming through the stained glass creates a fantastic effect, while evenings bring a completely different, more immersive ambiance. Desserts like Basque cheesecake and tiramisu are equally impressive. Note that the church bench seating may feel a bit uncomfortable for long stays. Highly recommended for those who want to quietly savor coffee alone or appreciate music in a contemplative setting. About 15 minutes on foot from Gupabal Station. Free parking available at Raemian Building 904. Closed Thursdays.
